My only bottle from my pot luck $20 charity purchase (more's the pity). 3 hour decant. Fine cassis and herbal aromas - really deep colour. Initial hit of Ribena but with background of liquorice and maquis herb with drying alcohol to counterpoint the up front sweetness in mouth. Good length and depth. A pointe now and for the next 2 years or so. Ludicrous value at the $20 paid, still good value at the community price of $46. A crowd pleaser of real quality.

Popped, decanted and poured. Full nose of dried fruit and pencil shavings - more complex than most Amarones. Lots of prunes and fruit on the palate with a good finish. Very good - a step up from most.
