From a blind pinot tasting Ruby red. Asian spice, red cherry, cranberry. Bold but with great balance. Soft red fruit, tangy acidity, whole cluster grip. Lots of stuffing should allow this to develop well over time. Impressive. My #2 edged out by the restraint of the Copain "En Bas".

Some whole cluster apparent on the nose. Good richness to the dark fruit. A little nervy, with some freshness but big, bold flavors, and moderate spice. Slightly larger scaled than my palate prefers, though bottle age would likely change that. Hard to rate, but would love to have one in the cellar to taste again down the road.
This was very popular with the group, finishing near the top out of 16 domestic Pinot's and 21 total including 4 from Burgundy and one from Germany.

A very nice wine. Concentrated, but not over the top, dark berries on the palate, very aromatic and did not regret opening this so early. I can see this settling down and improving, but enjoyable now.
