Decent fruit and considerable acid that is more characteristic of Italian Barbera than US produced. The acid level was a good match to the chicken parmesan allowing the wine to complement and improve the meal.

Tasted blind. My notes read "good stuff, wow". So much for formal notetaking. Others found it to be earthy/musky. Quite frankly i was surprised that it was revealed to be Cali barbera. Will have to try again.

Very juicy and earthy. Lots of currant, licorice, raspberry. Enjoyed more than I remember my last bottle in May last year.

Pretty decent California Barbera. Nice, juicy acidity. Seemed more Cal-Italia than California.
