Good acidity and clear enojyable minerality on this Auslese from Michael Schafer. It's a good wine although not pretty complex, it has a lasting finish and the sweetness is well balanced. Outstanding value for the money (£8).

Bottled 2011.
Pale gold; light syrup, toffee apple; medium-sweet, low acidity, clean, shapely; fresh finish. Pleasant enough, ultimately a little dilute.

Like the other bottles of this wine I have consumed, this has pleasing sweetness and flavour, but lacks a little acidity for my taste.

Fairly straightforward wine with very pronouned diesel aromas. Sweet attack on the palate with a starchy finish. Meh!

Quite sweet, very pleasant, good to sip with charcuterie and cheese platter.
