Structure and depth of character has held up in this outstanding cab from Trespass. Black cherry notes are prevalent. Really a bargain for under $50. Tasted wonderful with steak at poivre on New Years Eve.

Final .375, opened but not decanted and followed over 3 hours. Medium-dark fruits mellowed notably over the drinking window, melding with sweet tannic notes and old wood. Tannins are fading but still provide all the structure desired in a mature cab, but indicate that its shelf-life is at/near its peak. Black and blue-berry, vanilla, mid-to-back palate finish that lasts 20 seconds+. 90 upon opening, 92 after 3 hours.

This bottle had been a far corner of the cellar...and after digging it out, it ended being a very pleasant surprise. We opened it for a sip and enjoyed it the next evening (after evacuating the bottle). Quite different from one of the "big boy" cabs; soft, polished and filled with lovely fruits, and smooth tannins. We would buy it again!

A little wound up at first but when it relaxed after 30 minutes, it was drinking great.

No detailed notes, but sad this was the final bottle of this. Even from a 375 this was full, rich and complex with lots of depth and life remaining.
