A dark ruby red color...actually very attractive...with a very muted nose that was more of an exercise in the textbook earthiness of the rhone varietal blend. But...on tasting, what a nice treat, as there was a very easy, but bright fruit texture that had enough back bone and acidity to high light the fruit. One of my favorite roses of the year.

Looked like cranapple juice. Nice strawberry/banana nose. Nice strawberry/banana taste, with just enough spine to complement porkchops with pesto on a summer afternoon.

Mona Kidnaps James: From screwcap. Very brightly colored. This rose is made from Grenache, Shiraz, Cabernet, and Dolcetto. Listed at 12.5% alcohol, but it had so much body I would have thought it was higher. Lovely red strawberry and red currant fruit with the right balance of acidity and sweetness for my rose tastes. A big Rose. This was our starter at Coyote Café.

(TURKEY FLAT ROSE) #1 of 1; COLOR-darker than White Zins; NOSE-big nose, aromatic, strawberry, little bark & oak, hint of ladybug??, slightly vegetal (carrot), TASTE-very dry & perfumey, coats palate extremely well, I like this wine, very complex flavors coming through, fruit salad meets carrot bunch, complex, drink on the porch on a nice summer day, nice wine, very complete, shellfish, salmon, RP-89; GV-90
