This very-nearly-dry Riesling is wonderful. Stone fruits on the nose and a mix of tart green apples and petrol come join in on the palate. This is the best Riesling I've had in a while. Last time, I faulted it for "not being complex", but now that I've had it over the course of dinner, I find that it hits all the right notes, with enough length and presence to be wonderful, but without overpowering the nuances of the food I was eating. I give it 94 now so that my own reviews can have a 93 average.

Had this at the winery. This is a brilliant Riesling - I'm not sure why the low scores below. It had loads of vivid stone fruits up front with a dose of tart granny smith apples for some zip and a little bit of sweet in the background. No, it's not a "complex" Riesling, however, it's delicious and refreshing - just what I want on a summer day.

Clear yellow and lite in the glass. Flowers, citrus pith, pear and terpene on the nose. Lite body with flat citrus and coriander on the palate. Short finish. Un-present and uninspired.
