Dried apricots, jackfruit, quince, honey, pineapples and toffee apples with a very slight bitter note at the end of the long finish. Slowly evolving and plan to try the next bootle in 2-3 years.

Young with plenty of potential. Seductive nose with caramel, apricots, pineapples, ripe pears and honey. Sweet though it felt towards the lower end of the spectrum and plenty of acidity to make it very refreshing. No signs if it being coying at the moment. Long length. Paired decently with sticky toffee pudding and we think at the current stage of development, will cope well with a wide variety of curries.

A lovely wine that was enjoyed by all. I don't normally drink Sauternes this young but was curious. Lovely nose of pineappple and caramel. I was surprised how fast it faded. Planning to open a bottle every couple of years to see how it develops.

Christmas Wimps 2022 - A Letter from Santa Claus (La Trompette): Super intense! The spicy midpalate really marked this wine out, but there was plenty more to enjoy: barley sugar, honey, digestive biscuit, a general sense of lift.
