Deep gold. Honeyed apple and stone on the nose. Almost Auslese richness on the palate, though the acidity still shines through, at least until the wine begins to warm. Then the sugar begins to overwhelm the acid. Apples (red) and flint on the palate. Not likely to improve, but a very good drink now. Drink up.
