Pleasant spicy initial nose, very short finish, tannic, unremarkable. We tasted the bottle initially because it may have past its prime of 2004 to 2008. Very drinkable still with Chinese food.

Drank 3 of these during a party. All enjoyed the style, ripe berry nose, distinctive sangiovese feel and smooth palate. Well balanced and enjoyed by novices and more experienced red drinkers alike.

Sangiovese blended with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Annette and I shared a bottle with friends at the Gun Club in Beloit, WI where we celebrated our engagement with another couple. The wine was full bodied and intense. The cherry nose of sangio melded with the cassis and dark berry of the Malbec and CS. Hints of oak and vanilla might have been there, too. The flavors matched the nose to a tee. The flavors lingered in my mouth and on my palate. The tannins were good and the structure of the wine was quite complex. This was a great bottle of wine! $48.95 restaurant price.

simply one of my favorites - medium bodied yet rich and fulfilling - fruity taste and pleasant finish - the blend of Sangiovese, Cab Sauvignon, and Merlot is delightful

Decanted for 1.5 grs. Earthy red berry aromas. With our ribe eye/twice baked meal forgot this was not an itialian Brunello. Rounded and velvety with good fruit. Medium to full bodied. Long smooth finish.
