See Prior Note: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon 13% Malbec 7% Petit Verdot 4% Merlot 1% Cab Franc Having tried all of Pine Ridges 09 reds (except Fortis) this Rutherford was the most enjoyable. The nose is Perfumed with clean, pure Cabernet fruit and is very expressive. Dark red cherry, Black Raspberry and touches of plum dominate. There are background notes of earthy briary and oak but, perfectly ripe fruit is the driver. Very well balanced, fruit/acidity/tannins are all in harmony, medium bodied and elegantly feminine for a Cali Cab. More acoustic than electric guitar. Good Concentration, mouth filling, Sweet Ripeness to the fruit, fresh, flavors linger in the mouth. Wow. Nose fruits reflected on the palate. There are touches of herbal brambles and flashes of oak on the back end. Don’t mean to repeat myself but, one of the few wines where whats on the nose directly transposes to the palate. Opened the bottle poured a glass and waited one hour. This wine is Open for Business. Purchased winery direct, stored accordingly and enjoyed 60 – 70 with grilled beef. No reason at all to hold further, start enjoying this beauty Today…Na zdrowie

Was a little harsh when first opened, smoothed out and kept improving with time open. Drank over five hours and was still improving at the end. Suggest one hour decant if drinking now, or cellar for a few more years.

starting past prime but still good, no signs of deterioration such as vinegar or bouillon
