Bought from local independent retailer for 6/b after 3/b rebate. Very good simple CA chard--color, nose, body all good but nothing special, not much finish; good to skip the oak. The unoaked option for CA chard is definitely appealing and would buy this again at 6 but not much more, given all the close substitutes at that price.

If only there were a bit of acidity in this wine it could be called tasty, especially at discounted supermarket price under $5. Clean chardonnay flavor, mercifully absent of any buttery or oaky nuances. It's drinkable.

- Light gold color with fast forming legs and aromas of lemon. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of lemon and apple with a medium body. Round texture with a short finish - Crisp is a good descriptive. On the nose you get citrus - taste is green apple and lemonish. There is a hint of the butter that would discern it from an sb. Overall a good substitute with Chinese and Indian spiced foods. I would stock up on this if the price comes down below $9.

Very acidic. Good fruit, but out of balance. Drinkable, especially at $4 closeout. Would not pay $8.
