Hugely ripe, perhaps too ripe. On the palate there is a lot of density - lemony rich but without botyrtis. Not cloying.

Marvelous nose, crystalized oysters that quickly degrades and oxidizes... Poor storage damaged this, a shame as I like the start.
Vertical: François Raveneau Montée de Tonnerre 1983-2001; 2/22/2006-2/24/2006: Group 4th Place. My 5th. Keept my salivery glands working overtime. The finish last longer than it took for me to excuse my self to the bathroom and return. Sweeter than the rest. Possible little botrytis.
