Medium to deep gold. Mature but certainly not lifeless at ten years old, this nicely balances its crisp texture with rich, developed flavors of bruised pear, baked apple, citrus and butterscotch flavors. Tasty enough but time to drink up.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, medium+ acidity. There is excellent texture and depth with stone fruits, pears, red apples, hazelnuts, quince, custard, and vanilla.
Overall: This is gorgeous and right in the zone. This was pop and pour and took next to no time to open up.

Sunday wines and not wines (Chicago, IL): The nose has a bit of a funky quality, but it seems to dissipate with air. It's not quite reduction, even though there's a slight skunky thing here. The palate has a touch of fruit that's quite sweet, but this is mostly an acid-driven wine and it's the acid that washes all of this straight to the finish.

Bright. Flinty. Touch of oak but light handed. Enjoyable.
