this wine is the usual black stuff. The nose is haunting with cassis, fennel and cummin which is just so consistent and so complex. I don't normally buy Quinta's but I really like the style of this one. Not sure about the length as I was just taking in the complexity. This wines could make some terrific food matches in the future.

Tasted at the Vancouver Wine Festival. Floral red fruit driven nose and a nice not overly rich mouth and finish.

FTLOP Staff Tasting – 2008-2014 Ports (Sammamish, Washington): Almost completely opaque in the center, lightening on the edges. Rose petals on the nose. Blueberry on the palate with slightly aggressive tannins on the mid-palate.
