Fairly good on PnP, and really only needed 45 min to open up a bit more. Dried red fruit, plum, purple fruit, earth, touch of meat, dark chocolate. Long fairly simple finish. A great food wine with grass-fed burgers, but still good on its own. Tannic for a merlot -- this can be aged for a few more years but is ready to go now. 88% MERLOT, 8% CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 2% CABERNET FRANC, 2% PETIT VERDOT Me - 91/92, Wife - 93

Excellent, full bodied, Merlot with depth. Layers of red and blue fruit with some anise, vanilla and a hint of spice. Soft texture but firm tannins. Long finish.

Consistent with my September bottle. A little young for me, but certainly no harm in opening them now if you like them that way.

Solid Napa Merlot. Not overblown or too chocolatey, but just right.
