Deep ruby, black core and viscous @14.5% abv. Initially a funky nose; barnyard, flint, red meat, wet rock (no Brett). Dry(-off dry), medium acidity, medium tannin, high alcohol (heat) and full body. Depth of palate is astounding, blackberry jam, leather, loads of licorice, cherry, pepper presented on super-soft velvet. Long round and mouth-cladding slightly bitter finish. A knock-out with ample concentration and depth. Drink now.
60% Carignan, 40% Grenache.

Dark fruit, red fruit, minerals, garrigue, licorice, irony blood, strawberry, almost new world intensity, 14.5 abv. Lengthy finish, cocoa/dusty tannins.
Took a bit to open up, but boy when it did... paired great with chicken, kielbasa, kale, white bean, potato stew, also paired okay with a "robusto" cheese.

Green apple, vanilla and licorice. Have I ever had a wine more than 50% carignan? Not sure. Good heavens. Fun stuff. At fish la boissonnerie rue de seine in Paris. Doubt I’ll find this back in Brookline ;)

Incredibly complex for the price. Herbs, garrigue and beautiful fruit. Long finish, although a tad bitter for my taste.
