Double decanted for sediment. Restrained dark fruit flavors on the nose and the pallet. Thought it was in a good place now. Don't think you would want to hold this too long.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D’s): Double blind. Notes of currant, soy and brown sugar. The palate mirrors the bouquet. Develops a nice Asian spice note as it breathes in the glass. Balanced, with an abundance of black fruit on the palate. 92+ pts. (J&S)

Surprisingly on the thin side especially for the vintage. Acidity and tannins do grip but there’s just not much depth or complexity coming through. Actually better at opening versus a few hours after.

Wrong vintage. Removed from cellar and added a 2015 vintage
