An excellent PN with bright fruit, well integrated tannins. The wine is well balanced with nice finish. Paired with grilled coho salmon with cucumber dill sauce.

2017 was a poor CA vintage but this KB Pisoni was delicious. 1 hr decant and enjoyed with veal dinner and silky finish rewarding patience. I agree with drinking window - 2026.

Black cherry fruit with a spicy finish. Nicely balanced with notes of lavender, smoke and earth. Needs an hour to decant to fully enjoy all the complexity this Pinot Noir has to offer.

This was an excellent offering from KB from one of my favorite vineyard sources. Dark and red fruit intermingle over a smooth and seamless delivery. Expresses elegance and purity of fruit and is harmonious and integrated. That all being said, does it stand out at its price point earning accolades? I enjoy The ROAR Pisoni PN and also Paul Lato’s offering from this site, and they seem equally compelling at around or below the same price point. Over the years I have come to expect a very high standard in Kosta Browne offerings. While this wine was flawless and delicious, it seems to me that the pack has gained ground on the perrenial front-runner.
