  Bright yellow with a tint of green. Crisp, refreshing with dried ripe apple, lemon, grapefruit and peach for fruit. It has some nice minerality with pronounced phenolics and some white pepper. Medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, long finish.
  
  Grapes are from the Langenlois village. Aged 70% in stainless, 30% neutral oak. Whole cluster press. It spent 5 months on the lees, and there is some creaminess but I didn't get any bread or cheese flavors from the lees. Would be good with the right salad and weiner schnitzel.

  Pale (almost clear) yellow color w/excellent clarity. Aroma of tart citrusy fruit -- lemon, green apples. Crisply acidic fruit flavors of lemon, grapefruit, and green apple. A bit acidic on the palate, but refreshing. Try it with some seafood dip on a salty cracker to improve the balance for sipping.

  $24 Austrian summer sipping white 2020 Loimer Grüner Veltliner Langenloiser Kamptal. Sharp mid-straw gold, some viscosity (12.5 alc.); green fruit, stone fruit, lychee, floral nose; mid acids; medium depth; long crisp green fruit finish. w/appetizers, shrimp. 16.5 UC Davis scale, 91 other scales.

  Pale yellow in color, with excellent clarity. Floral aroma, with light apple and pear notes. Soft apple, along with lemon and green grass flavors. Well balanced and smooth mouthfeel. Medium-length finish with pleasing green apple flavors. One of the best Gruner Veltliners we have tasted.

  Loimer and Domäne Wachau (Langenlois and Dürnstein): Medium concentrated smell, a touch of mineral spice. Acacia blossom, cool. Some citrus. Just acidic enough. Characteristic Loimer freshness. Very good.
