Flowers, black raspberries, kirsch, and herbs create the core of this forward, medium-bodied, fresh, supple-textured, fruity wine, leaving you with juicy kirsch, and pepper in the endnote. The wine blends 90% Grenache with 10% Syrah. Drink from 2024-2029.

Quick stop at the CDP in-town tasting room of this producer. The wines here were vinified quite elegant, but even here one thing became clear. The top wines had more aroma and depth but also much more alcohol. From 14% (Cote du Rhone village) to the CdP VV (16%). In the end I preferred their simplest village wine for its drinkability. I have the same view with sweet wines, always prefer Moelleux to Liquoreux.
