Last of the Mis en Caves 08 (2007). Now pretty much golden. Oaty warm butter. Fine soft mousse. Nicely rich. Gentle ginger spice. Harmonious and very drinkable. At this stage it’s lacking some energy and complexity for **** but not far off — a couple of points behind a recent mag of this base. ***1/2

This is very nice, especially at the price point. Golden yellow, crisp, lean, sea salt backbone with some faint mousse. This is a buy at anything under $60.

NV sur des notes brioché, pomme mure, assez riche avec un bon pourcentage de vin de réserve.
La bulle est fine, c'est délicat et bien savoureux. J'aime son profil mais j'aurais préféré un peu plus d'acidité, de notes crayeuse afin d'obtenir un meilleur équilibre car je le trouve un peu lourd après deux-trois verres.
Un brut réserve qui démontre une belle complexité.
Pour le prix c'est un bon achat.
