  • Very pale yellow w/glint of green.

    Nose > Sappy pink-grapefruit, fresh lime-flesh, white-nectarine, & tart-apricot. Honeysuckle, cool slate & crushed rock.
    Creamy/steely, sweaty/pungent, blackcurrant, lychee, lavender, lemon/lime-oil, lime-zest, & sweet-clover.
    Red, Morello-cherry, & rocky cherry-stone.
Big aroma. Vivid, steely petrichor. Like a mountain stream of Riesling crashing over frozen boulders.

    Palate > Slatey/sweaty/pungent lime-flesh, tart-apricot, grapefruit/pink-grapefruit, with lemon & lime-oil.
Crushed rocks & minerals, kiwi, lychee, & Morello-cherry.
Sharp, complex, refreshing, & firm, with plenty of fruit.
Good+ intensity & length. Great balance.
Lime-flesh & zest in long finish.
    Perfumed lime-zest, & pink-grapefruit in extended aftertaste.

A big, characterful Kabinett with great acidity. Drinks fairly dry.

A long distance runner that is already drinking beautifully. Impressive.

  • Cheesy, funky nose. Spritzy on the palate, lively acidity. Simple but refreshing finish. This is a good Riesling to sip chilled for refreshment. Not so much for refined Riesling elegance.

  • Green apples galore. Straightforward Riesling, didn't really get the funkiness David suggested, but nice nevertheless. Just not complex.
