  • My very last bottle... this one was showing the typical reduction and funky, rotten plummy fruits showing quite strongly. Got better after 2 hours, then got worse over two days. I was only able to finish the first glass of this and dumped 3/4 of the bottle. Seems I had less than a 50% hit ratee with these being drinkable across the two cases I bought. Obviously, disappointing.

  • This was the best of the last several bottles, so it has not completely gone off the deep end... my previous bottles were likely simply more of the same: various levels of reduction that does or does not dissipate as the bottle is left open. The bottle today was quite delicious and tasty, showing some initial reduction on night one, but it had entirely resolved by night two. The fruit is turning even more and more mature plummy, though, which to me indicates these (when not reduced) are on the decline. Hope my next bottles at least offer this level of enjoyment.

  • I'm now thinking this wine has crest over his peak and is on a rapid decline. I haven't had a good bottle in over a year now. This one started out showing some hints of reduction but also quite a lot of fruit. I was hoping that reduction would fade and the fruit bloom, but what has happened is simultaneously with the reduction fading the fresh fruit has died and the wine tastes slightly oxidized with maderized fruit. Undrinkable on day two; went down the drain.

  • Followed over 5 days and this bottle never came around. Starting out tasting reduced, but this time it was a blend of reduced and oxidized and nasty... it remained that way, only gaining in oxidation. Being that I had a bottle 9 months ago that was awesome, hopefully this was just an anomaly. What a difficult wine to try and enjoy when I want to enjoy it...

  • Same experience as always... disgustingly reductive and undrinkable on night one and absolutely delicious by night three.
