Apple and pear with subtle notes of quince, peach and lemon. The oak seems quite prominent on the palate as well. Slightly off-dry with really nice, zippy acidity and a touch of heat from the 13.8% abv. Short finish. Enjoyable, but at this price it left me wanting better balance and more complexity.

Smells and tastes like apple juice, although not nearly so sweet. Great flavor, bright acidity, nice and smooth. Perfect for an 85 degree afternoon bbq.

Interesting wine. Lemon, apple, floral and honey on the nose with a whiff of cashew, the palate begins with a sweet note of baked apple pie in the company of brown sugar, but the acidity takes over on the transition and the finish ends up quite dry and cleansing. I was left with the impression of a lot of 'sweet' flavors on a wine that acted dry.

Mountains to Metro (Heritage Ballroom in the Governor Hotel): Nice and typical arormas for Oregon Riesling. Mild and tart palate, with nice crisp texture. Good acid on thee finish, with fine balance, though definitely a little bit on the sweeter side to start the lineup with this.
