- Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of blackberry and violet. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry and black pepper with a medium body. Bright texture with a medium finish - @ Aegean Breeze, Great Barrington. Ordered after trying the popular restaurant red which simple and disappointing. Was intrigued by its unusual nature, a Santorini Red. Was totally satisfying, something any wine geek would appreciate.

Solid wine, fruit and spice without being overpowering. Reminds me of an old-world pinot noir perhaps, or a lighter barbera. Very drinkable, and good QPR.

Quite a different showing from last May's tasting, this almost seems like an altogether different wine, lighter, less masculine and almost resembling a California Pinot Noir, with its bright red cherry, pomegranate and spice flavors. Supple on the palate, decidedly round, smooth and seamless, with no hard edges, and a clean, fruit and spice filled finish.

Light bodies with a sharp finish. Would shelve with pork or chicken next time.
