Still broad shouldered and very fit. Surprising lack of fruit in the palate given the nose. Medium plus acidity. Masculine yet a rounded finish. Old leather tobacco gravel. Velvet upfront with a lingering finish. Still structured and decent though delicate tannins. Feels French in the flavor profile but still tastes new world - not farmy. Fruit creeps in with time out of bottle. Feels like it still has a bit more time left if you wanted to let it ride in bottle.

Notes of Old leather, tobacco and gravelly earth. Less fruit than most California cabs. Still weighty and could go another 5+ easily. Mine was cellared at 60° since reception from the winery's wine club.

cellared at 55 degrees since release. perfect cork small tartrate. Deep dark blood red with long legs. Decanted with minimal aeration and consumed over 3 hours. Nose of rhubarb and cassis with touches of cherry. secondary notes of cedar and white pepper. Good jammy dark red fruit with dense overripe cherry with some faint very slight raisiny notes with a frame of faint cigarbox spices. Medium body with good smooth mouth coating tannins Moderate finish
