My last bottle and what a journey this was. It seemed like every other bottle was over the hill and in decline, while ones like this one were outstanding, showing no sign of decline and could age for years longer. No decant, just poured thru an aerator. Nice nose of red fruits, leather and bell pepper. Great mouthfeel with some tannins still present but they added rather than detracted. Long legs, deep cherry color, red fruits and some dusty minerality. Great finish. Just an outstanding cabernet. Wish I had a few more to see where they go. I would put up with the occasional bad to experience the very very good.

Oxblood and inky in color. Nose of pine cones, leather, freshly shaved nutmeg, really overripe black plum and blackberry, like walking through a field of beautifully sweet flowers and once it opens more eucalyptus. Beautiful nose. Minimal silky tannins with a bit of acidity quickly tushes down the side of the tongue. Still a lot of fruit on the palate, ripe black cherry, sweet black plum with a bit of skin, eucalyptus, touch of leather, black pepper. Good palate...that nose though! Enjoy now.

Out of a case my next to last bottle. It seems that one bottle will be outstanding then the next will be just ok and make you think you should have drank it way sooner. Unfortunately, the cork on this came apart and it was just ok. Still, several people liked it and the bottle was empty at the end of the evening. But, out of 6 wines, this came in last for everyone.

Drinking well right now. Unlikely to get better. Very enjoyable on its own - no need to pair with food.
