Cherry red, showing maturity --- Nose sour cherry, tea, hint of marzipan, forest floor, green tea, hint of amarena kirsch --- Palate smooth, later vivid acidity and present tannins, earthiness, lots of tea, minerality, some tobacco --- Finishes fresh, tart, some fruit coming through. Nice structure, interesting flavour profile, like this tart tea aspect, missing some fruit, nice minerality-ash impression. Outstanding qpr. Expect further development for 3-5 years.

Very deep ruby. Hibiscus and dog rose, pine-tree resin, some spicyness like rosemary and sage. It has a deep warmth to it and some meatyness. Some refreshing lemon and wild cherry as well. Medium-bodied, medium length, warm, somewhat spicy/shrubby finish. Interesting stuff and good for Aglianico-beginners as well as -lovers. Was ok with bolognese.
