Absolutely wonderful bottle. Depth of flavor is so expressive with vanilla married to meyer lemon and apricot. The viscous over the tongue coating lasted from mid-palate thru the long finish resolving to a bite of apple. Such a fun transition from start to finish. Yum!

Beautiful deep gold. Quickly evolving in the glass. Initially, soft, muted notes of vanilla wafer, banana pudding, lemon custard, pineapple upside-down cake, but fading precipitously after half an hour. On the palate, some tart lemon and gravelly notes. Brief finish. No flaws, but over the hill, and lacking the fruit this wine had a few years ago. Will try again tomorrow, but not expecting any improvement.
(Note is without food).

Monthly Tasting Group: Old Reds 2008 and Earlier (Tilia, Mpls): Medium gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Lots of minerality on the nose, oak with a bold richness of mature fruit, lemon, lemon confit, marzipan. Bigger, full bodied, rich, mature plus on the palate, oak, lemon, lemon confit, tart apple and lots of spice on the back. This good, but I have the sense that it would have been better 2 years ago. 91+ to 92pts.

A very nice chardonnay. Medium yellow in color. The palate was orange, apple, white flowers and a touch of oak. Drank with a platter of sushi.
