Held up well, despite being at the end of its drinking window. This isn't my preferred style of Chardonnay anymore, but it's very good for what it is. At this price point it's hard to beat if you like classic Napa Chardonnay.
This adheres to the classic Napa style of butter and oak. If anything, its advanced age made it a bit more mellow and balanced than it might have otherwise been.

Butter and oak have fallen out of favor. Their abuse precipitated their fall from grace... with stainless steel barrels coming into fashion, and malolactic fermentation on it's way out. It's sad really. Butter and oak aren't inherently a bad thing.
Miner's 2010 Napa Chardonnay is a chardonnay in the typical Napa style, if a bit more refined. For the $25-30 that you'll pay for a bottle, you're rewarded with a chardonnay that is extremely pleasing. Notes of apricot, stone fruits, green apple and yes, a touch of butter and oak. You'd have to pay $50 or more to get a better chardonnay.

Kind of a cross between old and new. A little oak and butter with a little crisp and apple. Decent wine but not up to what I like, old style with lots of oak and butter.

Pleasing chard from Miner...perhaps a bit more oak than I prefer. Enjoyed the butterscotch and tropical fruit taste on the palate.
