I most definitely prefer age on virtually all of Morgan's wines, but this might be the oldest BR Old Vine Zin that I've tried. Still holding strong but it's time to drink up. Clear browning at the edges and while there's still some faint fruit on the palate, it's more savory at this point and not overly exciting. Fun to try and a nice experiment, but this would have been more enjoyable two years ago (which makes sense as I don't think @bedrockmorgan and @underthewirewine intended these to age this long).

Wow, this has aged beautifully. Medium purple color. Nose shows plums, black cherries, lots of spiced black tea, and a cool mix of meaty, peppery, mushroomy goodness. Full but smooth, fine-grained tannins, the acidity is fresh and lively. Saucy black cherries, plum sauce, mixed with olives, beef broth, pepper, earth. So velvety, vibrant, savory. I was really impressed with this Bedrock Zin and how it has aged. Lovely.

Still drinking great. Zippy acidity & lovely fruit w/ some interesting spice notes. In addition to the normal brambly fruit notes, we noticed some peach on the nose.

PnP. Nose of bright red fruit - cherry and raspberry. On the palate the raspberry leaps out of the glass in a bright and lively fashion with great acidity. Some pepper and medium tannins round out the finish.

(Bedrock Wine Co. Old Vine Zinfandel) Lovely, redolent, plum, wild berry nose; tart wild berry, tart black cherry palate with grip; needs 1-2 years; medium-plus finish (from vines planted from 1880 to 1918; 22% new French oak)

Pop and pour, still drinking great. Fresh, crisp with fruit. Hint of Zin spice on the front and very drinkable throughout
