Quite light for a Gewurz, lemony gold. Lychee, appricots, rose water, and some very subtle pepper on the nose. Very well held together on the palette slightly off dry but with some acid to balance. Shame I only had one bottle of this, would have liked a re-visit in a year or two.

Deep gold in colour. A rich heady perfume of honey, rose, lychee, dried apricots, mandarins in syrup, green apple skin and a touch of lanolin. Off dry with surprising acidity (for a gew!), viscous mouthfeel, moderate - alcohol and a long finish... spicy, bold and big intensity, yet delicate as only a gewurztraminer can be. Paired with a red coconut curry.
