Very solid QPR and sorry this is my only bottle, evidently. I think a few more years may not have been a bad thing, although this is fairly mild, not one of those vourays that goes on forever. Definitely tastes young and fresh. In fact, although not as crisp, a little reminiscent of Muscadet. Nice saline sweet and sour thing going on. Solid.

Love Alan's notes below and wish like hell I had bought more of this wine at $20. Especially like that this doesn't have the funky nose you get on some Childans. I'll buy more of this producer next chance I get.

Nose shows crushed stone and some light, maybe underripe fruit; somewhat reserved and shy fruit, though there are flashes of intensity, dominated by mineral, sea spray, and an undercurrent of lime phosphate acidity. Finish is quite pleasant, though very mineral. Definitely a wine for the AFWE.

Enjoyed this much more than the 2009. Much more cut and acidity. Quince, lemon, hawthorn flower, lanolin, and earthy minerals. Expressive on the palate, with great balance, salty acids, and a moderately long finish. 91 points now, with potential for improvement with some age. A great value.

Notes of pear, Asian pear, apples. Light to medium body. Medium acidity. Very nice.
