A couple of years past its prime but still interesting and drinkable. Hints of oxidative notes, brown sugar, wet leafs, mushrooms, dark chocolate, and peach ice tea. Thin and elegant mouthfeel, nice acidity.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Colicchio & Sons - New York NY): Tasted in 09/02/95 vertical, brief note. Fully mature black fruit with mushroom notes and some protruding structure still common with 1995s.

The Verticals Tasting at La Paulée 2015 (Colicchio & Sons, New York): Fully mature looking. Strange aromatic mix of ripe and stalky with artificial sweetness in the mouth-chaptalized? Fully resolved. Pretty forgettable.
