This 2007 Tempranillo is deep purple in color. Aromas of Blackberries, Fig, Blood Oranges, Hot Chocolate, and Soil. If you dropped Wild Berry Pop-Tarts, Terry's Chocolate Orange, Nestle Quick Mix, and Green Tree Bark in a blender that's what I get on the nose. Flavors of Oak, Plum, Blackberry, Cherries, Walnuts, and Pepper on the palate. There is also a hint of Orange. I get sour cherry and oak on the finish. Round tannins, a little dry with some nice acidity.

Dark purple color. Lots of blackberry in the aromas, with blackberry and black cherry fruit flavors. A bit of milk chocolate in the aftertaste. Fruit-forward and new world in style. Slightly too jammy for my taste in Tempranillos, but a nicely made affordable wine that will appeal to many. Great with burgers on the grill.

dark ruby colored. nose of rasberries, bit of spice, and some toast. lighter bodied with smooth tannins, kind of high acidity. ripe rasberry fruit, albeit a bit thin, with some toast and spice notes. not bad for the price. good rice and beans wine, but nothing to really drink on its own.
