Colour was a shade between medium to dark gold, which was arguably how it should be like. Nose was dominated with baked apple, caramel and custard. The palate was ripe with low acidity. For this particular bottle, it was certainly over the peak.

An advanced colour showing hints of golden amber and much darker than a Coche-Dury 1991 drank alongside. A spearmint nose leads the way with sweet lemon marange and a delightful floral undertone. This is full bodied, oily and creamy, with medium acidity. What was most incredible though was the amazing evolution of this wine over the night. After two hours the nose had developed an intense depth and complexity that was almost like a Sauternes with aromas of honey and sweet citrus. Just a delightful wine.

Quite an advanced colour with a burnt orange tinge. There are some ripe peach notes along with grilled nuts and a suggestion of crème brulee. The palate is a tad washed out.

Medium yellow, golden. Super ripe cantelope nose, apricot. The flavours run to over ripe white fruit, mushrooms. Mineral flavour and feel. Medium long finish

Perfect citrus and mint aromatics. Flavor is intense but feel is mellow.
