  Opened from cellar, quick decanted, then drank. Good but not special nose of darker fruits. Medium to full-bodied with very nice complexity and depth, fairly long finish. A bit tight on first sips but opened up quickly in the glass. This wine is ready to drink with just a quick decant or an hour or so open in bottle before drinking.

  Superb! Much more developed than last bottle almost 2 years ago. Strong notes of black cherry with hints of forest floor tobacco and espresso. Hits the entire palate with a wonderful, lingering finish. Several layers to this wine which opened more and more over the hour I enjoyed last night. Hoping for even more today.

  Just coming into its own. Beautifully complex in all respects.
  The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), red currant, blackberry, cherry, vanilla, coffee, stoniness and chocolate. It tastes like black currant (cassis), blackberry, cherry, stoniness, coffee, vanilla, verbena, violet, tobacco and chocolate. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
