Tasted blind. Lemon juice, ripe peach, soap, tarragon, white pepper on the nose. Medium intensity of aromas. The palate is still driven by the ripe yellow peach, adding ripe melon, but shows rocks, slate and a hint of RS. Off-dry. Overall pretty simple.
Medium body, ripping acid.
Call: Cheap off-dry Mosel Riesling. Made perfect sense when unveiled as VV because I thought it may have been Albariño from the nose. Love the 9% alcohol. This costs $8 here in SoCal. It’s a very typical VV and great for the price.

Of course, this is great for the price. I do struggle to write notes, however, there is not that much going on. White flowers, jasmine on the nose with a little hint of sweetness. Maybe honeysuckle? On the palate, it’s effervescent, with acidic lightness and a touch of sugar. Some lemon and river rocks.
7/18, but forget the rating, the wine does not have any competition at this price point.

Pale straw in the glass with effervescence that fades within a minute. Smells of pear and yellow apple. On the palate the wine is light and tastes of grapefruit with high acidity that is crisp and refreshing.

Dry, crisp, fresh with heavy grapefruit and citrus notes. Some melon on the nose and palette but citrus is predominant. Good aperitif or pairing with salads, anchovies, sardines.

Pale golden in the glass with a hint of green in the glass - crisp and dry, fruity with a hint of bitterness; Light-bodied wine. Lovely bubbles.
