This bottle of 12 Chateniere showed better than the last, possibly also because it was served a little warm. Classic lime profile and beeswax. Little touch of oxidation already kicking in. Salty and expansive on the palate if a little bit fatter than I would have liked (the temperature didn’t help here).

Mainly Vosne and Chambolle GCs: Guessed new world Chard because of the lack of tension and tropical, sweet fruit. Similar to the previous bottle that someone else brought at the end of last year, unidentifiable as a Burg. Either poor provenance from the same source or Lamy didn’t do well in 2012.

Piedmont theme: Some thought Chenin but didn’t have the sweetness, I was thinking Jura with the cloudiness. A little thin despite the tropical fruit, guessed 2013 for the vintage. Not very Lamy-like.

Pale lemon in the glass. Bright aromas of citrus fruit, green melon, green apple, brioche, lemon curd. Very tight on the palate, I'm thinking I should've decanted this to release it a bit. Acidity that blasts you into galaxy, brightening up the fruit extraordinarily. The secondary notes come in subtly, giving pleasant complexity to the wine. Excellent wine, but needs some time in the bottle to expand.

PYCM vs Lamy vs Ramonent (Kolabo): Blinded. Slightly reductive, touch of yellow flowers, tropical fruits, Seem a little tired on the palate.
