Very good colour; moreish nose - still lots of warm rich pinot fruit; tannins are still there but gentle. A seamless wine that tastes like good quality red burgundy should do but often doesn't. An incredible value given the price of good burgundy today. All in all a delightful surprise, and not the last bottle.

London Blind Challenge (Caldesi, London): Brighter, darker red. Again, pinot nose. Almost new world nose. Spicy, rich, quite concentrated. Vosne? Lovely sweet fruit. Guess 1996 or 1999 Vosne Rom.
