Aromas was lacking when first opened. Decanted and some spicy pepper was detected, but still not as aromatic as I was expecting. Spicy and peppery on the palette. A little hot. Medium finish. I suggest drinking now, toward the end of cellar life.

Plenty of raspberry and cherry fruit, and there's a really pleasant gravelly, mineral note on the finish. It was good with salmon, but I want to try it with something a little fattier. One note is to definitely give it an hour to breathe first. The pop-and-pour taste was just short of weird.

Opened and let breathe for two hours. First glass nose was bursting with fruit. Served with broiled steelhead on the grill, and it was awesome I've nothing else to add to the other comments - if you have some it is drinking splendidly....wish I had more.

Cherries, spice on the nose. On the palate, dark and red cherry on the front end with cola effervescence on the mid palate and spices and light tannins on the back end. Feminine in style and worth a repeat.
