One hour decant. Deep dark purple color. Interesting nose of dark berries with a savory herbal and peppery character and subtle minerals. Wonderful full bodied palate of stone fruit and dark berries with spice and dusty graphite mineral notes. Fully resolved tannins and a smooth long finish. Drinking incredibly well.

Four years since last bottle. Very good, aged red fruit, much else as in prior note: some earth, wood, cedar, herb. Modest nose, still long finish. I think this is definitely time to drink up. Was very good with mushroom soup, but somewhat less compelling than before.

Really fantastic. Still great primary fruit on the nose, but also with cedar, graphite, and some other savories. Soft bright fruit on the front of the palate, good grip and long finish. Excellent wine from young vines and one of the more overall enjoyable Red Mountain wines I have had lately. This still has a long life ahead of it.

(Cadence Camerata Cara Mia Vineyard) Opaque purple red violet color; ripe currant, black currant nose; ripe currant, black currant palate; medium-plus finish 92+ points
(Cadence Winery Camerata Red Wine Cara MIa Vineyard Red Mountain) Medium ruby. Locked up tightly, this wine opens up to aromas of cranberry, rose hips, floral notes, and mineral notes. The palate has focused, ripe fruit flavors on a well-integrated scaffolding of tannins that squeeze the palate before gently letting go. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot. 14.4% alcohol.

Black and blue mineral nose, velveteen cocoa laced mouth finishing long and precise. Wonderful presentation.
