Lighter garnet. Spicy nose with red fruit and oak. A bit greener and leaner than the fantastic 2004 along side it. Still decent but the 2007 year cannot fully hide.

- Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of cloves and dusty. It's balanced and has flavours of grapefruit, cherry and tea with a medium body. Polished texture with a long finish - Very nice!

Not your everyday pinot. Earthy nose. Lots of spice-box; all-spice and nutmeg. earthy taste too. with good acidity. Almost a zesty grapefruit taste. Still some firm tannis. Probably still a little youg. Will be curious to see how it evolves over time.

Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: good, classic gevrey nose of earthen tones, wood spices, dark red cherries, and raspberries. Good robustness to it, but with a lighter touch at this time and good purity
taste: excellent and more round feel with well balanced tones of strawberries, earthen tones, dark red cherries and raspberries. Good medium/high acidity that is definitely present, but doesn't get in the way
overall: an outstanding wine. Lovely with classic aromatics that really draw you in. Pure Gevrey expression that is very alluring

This wine has really softened up since my last bottle. Less zesty. Softer spices. Great fruit and nicely Balanced.
