Bricking and sediment , so decanted this one. Medicinal cherry aromas, earthiness, spices, some sage. Overall medium to full bodied. Sour cherries, a lozenge type cherry flavour as well. Earthy, drying, spices, black olives.

Sour cherries, high alcohol but no heat, pleasant finish. Old-world sensibility, subtle, brilliant. One of the first wines that was appreciated by all in my household.

Brick colored, most likely due to age. Nose of red berries, earth and was able to find black olive (based on IWC review). Taste has more of what I found on the nose. Nice finish. One of my favorites. Drink now.

(Clos Mimi Petite Rousse) COLOR-dark; NOSE-a lot of red fruit coming through; also a gamey component; PALATE-this is coming across really nice and has more oomph than previous vintages; this wine has great body and great weight on the palate; the finish is exceptional; what blows me away is that, while this wine is so big, I'm getting zero heat; this is showing extremely well and seems like a different caliber than previous vintages; WS-99; GV-No Score

Distinctive! Not your usual flavor profile. I think there is a high degree of bottle variation with this wine.
