Last one, could use more time, was grilling a porterhouse and needed a young cab to stand up to it, this did the job! I like ‘11 Napa cabs more than most the austerity brings more balanced profile imho, personal view of course nose had blackberries, currants vanilla, spices palate was smooth with medium acidity, integrated tannin and medium length

Ruby with light ruby rim; nose of black berry, cedar, raspberry, black tea and cloves; pfn with addition of iron notes on the mid palate and tar on the finish; thinner mouthfeel than anticipated; balanced with medium finish; we tried this at the winery in the fall 2014 and remember it as better

Tasted at Duckhorn Vineyards with Kathy, Nose of dark cherry fruit, dust, fig, and red raspberry, more of the same on the palate, rich and tasty, give it 3 years to peak as it shows subdued fruit on the mid palate, medium/big body, and medium/long finish.

Terrific cab. Went great with a prime strip steak.
