A nice little wine, the key words of this review being "little wine". This just doesn't have the structure a Brunello should have. A pretty wine, but there's not enough stuffing or substance here given the appellation and vintage. If this were a 1995 Chianti, I'd be much more enthused. In fact, if served blind, I'd guess this was a traditionally made Chianti every time. Drink now.

Drank at our Italian dinner party, served with roasted pheasant in a tomato sauce. The wine was velvety smooth, fantastic.
