Although we enjoyed this wine, I was a little disappointed. Lately, the Sauvignon Blanc's we have tasted from Chile have displayed an uplifted amount of those hard to describe earthy nuances that seem to come only from Chile. This one is OK, but just run of the mill. Nothing wrong, just kind of ordinary. The color is probably more golden than Sauvignon Blanc from most non French producers. The nose has powerful notes of citrus, sweet tropical fruit, and especially fresh cut lemon peel. The fruit profile is typical, competent, and not necessarily overpowering, grapefruit, apple, apricot, and lemon. A slight amount of earthy herbal notes. The acid is kind of raw, but certainly very refreshing. Not all that big in the mouth, possibly a little sweet. Very crisp finish.

Crisp, good mineral tones, nice fruit. For the price not too shabby.
