This time I was expecting less so I enjoyed it more. Not bad for mid-week left-overs. The fruit that stood out when this was young has faded into more secondary flavours. But it has smoothed out and can still be enjoyed for what it is.

WSET III, part 2; 12/3/2011-12/4/2011 (Portland, ME): Medium-plus intensity ruby color. Pronounced nose of eucalyptus and dark cherry. Dry; medium body, acid, and tannin. Medium-plus flavor intensity, Medium-minus length finish. Drink now, with some potential for aging.

Drinkable but not much pleasure this time. So much fruit when first released.

Drinkable, but not as noteworthy (literally) as its shiraz cousin.
