Unfortunately over the hill; I should have had it years ago. Sour. With copious bitter green (which was probably there before it oxidized). Not a pleasant experience.

As I engage in the distressing process of culling wines from my cellar (due to my impending move in less than a month) I'm trying to get thru my older bottles that might be fading or dead already. Popped n' poured this baby yesterday in Copake with the SB guys. Pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of this bottle. Aromas of leather and olives on the nose. Still good amount of black and red currant fruit. Also, notes of pepper, leather and earth. Nice balance here. Tannins fully resolved. Not particularly complex and, actually, a bit sweet on the finish. Nice bottle in good shape. Apparently produced by the same team that owns Cheval Blanc and d'Yquem.
